The app scans your device's storage to identify redundant files like duplicate photos unused videos and temporary screenshots but only displays the results for you to review and decide what to delete or compress—no operations are performed without your explicit confirmation. 

All such scans and processing happen exclusively on your device and no related files are uploaded to our servers. 

We may collect certain non-personal information including device brand and model operating system and approximate region. 

This information is collected in an anonymous form meaning it cannot be used to identify individual users. 

We use device and system information to monitor crash rates and resolve technical issues ensuring app stability; approximate region data helps us adapt to regional language preferences and optimize user experience. None of this information can be used to locate or identify a single user. 

Your data related to photos videos and other personal content remains under your full control. You can review flagged files at any time decide to delete or retain them and uninstall the app whenever you want—all app-related data will be removed from your device upon uninstallation. 

SnapSweep is not intended for use by children under 14. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors and if we become aware of such a case we will delete the information promptly. 

SnapSweep does not share any of your information with external entities.
